Skilynx, the legendary lens

In the mountain, sun rays are intense. 85% of the UV rays are reflected by the snow and their intensity increases by about 10% every 1000 meters (3000 feet). The skilynx mineral lens offers maximum security, in situations of high exposition and reverberation.

Invented by Joseph Atchiguian in 1957, it was worn by Jean Vuarnet, who won the gold medal in down-hill skiing in the Squaw Valley Olympics in 1960.
