"If it’s easy, it’s not fun"

Enjoy a sneak peak of "If it’s easy, it’s not fun", an ode to adventure and friendship. Vuarnet Fellow Champion Climber Liv Sansoz and paraglider and guide Zeb Roche asked filmmaker Aurelie Gonin to document their 12-day expedition in a desert like no other between sand dunes, sandstone and granite towers: the Wadi Rum, Jordan. An adventure where combining climbing and paragliding is something innovative, the region having seen very few paragliders before.

The trio set out to discover what they could achieve in Jordan’s unusual desert landscape. Together they aimed to conquer big walls, capture beautiful photos, and tackle the challenging Jihad wall.

Liv Sansoz is originally from Savoie but has been living in Chamonix for 12 years. She has been attracted to the mountains since her childhood and she's passionate about all of the pursuits she can do there: skiing, climbing, mountaineering, paragliding, etc.. She was a two-time Climbing World Champion and three-time Climbing World Cup winner. In 2017 she embarked on a project to climb all the peaks over 4000m in the Alps, there are 82 in total. Currently, she is finishing her training to become a mountain guide.
